There are some goals that you should take into consideration when you are working with restaurant brokers:
1. You want to take a look at the opportunities that meets your needs.
2. You want a restaurant broker that will give you deal in your best interest.
3. You want the restaurant broker to feel that they are being paid well and motivated.
4. If you are not satisfied, you should have the option to cancel an agreement.
Should you work with one or many Vancouver restaurant brokers?
The answer is self-explanatory. You would think many agents would provide you access to more properties.
That is not true. Restaurant brokers especially Vancouver restaurant brokers with experience won't spend a lot of time working with you on a general basis due to a high risk of not receiving any money. Especially if you purchase a lease or company through another agent.
Would your bookkeeper agree to do your tax return if four other accountants were also trying to prepare your tax return, but only to find out that the first one that finished would get paid?
This technique also brings forth a race to "sell" you a property fast rather than taking the time to invest in the right property. (You will probably have a tax return that is not up to par using the example above)
